introduces transparent tariff policies, and emphasizes green initiatives, pollution control, and disaster management in line with global conventions.<\/p><p>It strengthens the Maritime State Development Council (MSDC) for better Centre\u2013State coordination, empowers state maritime boards, and enables PPPs and foreign investment.<\/p><p>The law supports coastal shipping, inland waterways, and multimodal connectivity to cut logistics costs and improve efficiency. Expected impacts include job creation, improved MSME competitiveness, and sustainable port development, positioning India as a global maritime leader by
