Northeast India, aimed at boosting trade, tourism, and employment. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal outlined key plans including \u20b91,000 crore for inland waterways, new cargo terminals, year-round dredging, and cruise operations in Assam.<\/p><p>A \u20b9200 crore Centre of Excellence and the Maritime Skill Development Centre in Guwahati will train 50,000 youth over the next decade. The Kaladan Multi-Modal Project connecting Myanmar to Mizoram is set for completion by 2027. Other highlights include 100 barges by 2025, 10 new dredgers, 85 community jetties, \u20b9300 crore for tourist jetties, and Water Metro projects in major cities.<\/p><p>These efforts support PM
