AP Cabinet Clears Key Logistics, Industry and Infra Projects
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet approved a wide-ranging package of policy, industrial and infrastructure decisions to accelerate economic growth, strengthen logistics and attract investments. A key move was the creation of the AP Logistics Infrastructure Corporation (APLINC) and an AP Logistics Fund as an Alternative Investment Fund to mobilise institutional capital.
The Cabinet cleared a captive port SPV at Anakapalli and sanctioned multiple industrial projects, including space, aviation, electrical steel and wind manufacturing units. Incentives were approved for cement and renewable energy projects.
It also cleared a ₹200 crore MSME cluster programme, revenue measures to rationalise excise taxes, and major financial approvals for water supply, education kits and tourism. Infrastructure sanctions included a judicial academy and a 950 MW pumped storage hydropower project.
